Self catering accommodation to sleep up to 5 at Dove farm. Located on the Staffordshire Derbyshire border, between Ashbourne and Uttoxeter, close to Alton Towers.

Usually booked as a group of cottages with Barn Owl and Swallow cottages for weekend breaks and short breaks for groups.

Well equipped kitchen with range cooker and large fridge/freezer. This kitchen is the nearest one to the dove dining studio, so it is ideal as the main cooking area for large groups. If you choose to bring in caterers, they prefer to set up in Wren cottage kitchen, before serving guests in the dining room next door. The living room is small and cosy, and includes a sofabed to offer more flexible group accommodation for families and friends hiring all three cottages. The triple room has ample headroom for bunk beds, because of high ceiling. Wren cottage may be booked separately, subject to availability. Individual holiday cottage usually available for short midweek breaks.

This cottage is all ground floor. The kitchen, living area and bedrooms are all accessible by wheelchair, with internal door widths set to external specifications of 33 inches. Electric sockets are positioned between 84cm and 90cm from the floor, and light switches are 110 cm from the floor. The kitchen area does not have adaptations for use by disabled guests. The bathroom is all on one level, however it is not disabled friendly in layout. The shower has a low-profile shower tray and 2 grab rails, making it suitable for those guests with limited mobility who can walk with the use of a frame or similar. The shower is not suitable for wheelchair users. The toilet is standard height. A seat raiser and a portable fit around frame is available if required. The pedestal basin is positioned to the left (user’s perspective) This cottage works well for disabled guests when hired together with the other two properties as a group of cottages.
